Boys & Girls CLub of London Foundation
Boys & Girls Club of London (BGCL) Foundation
The Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation supports the programs and services offered by BGC London (the Boys and Girls Club of London). In partnership with the community, our fundraising efforts target both the operational and capital needs of the Club and help BGC London to continue to meet the needs of our community.
The Foundation delivers reasonable goals and accountabilities to donors ensuring that all gifts provide sustainable funding and new projects fit in with the strategic plan. Our continued growth and future sustainability depends on our ability to engage the London community to support our programs and services.
About the Foundation
In the beginning, the Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation Board looked after a small investment fund and met twice a year. In 1984 the Foundation took on a more active role and was charged with raising funds to build new facilities for the Club.
As a result, the organization moved forward with two Boards, which are separately incorporated provincially and federally and registered under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. The Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation’s registered charity number is 119037638 RR0001.
Each Board consists of up to twelve members with one cross-over member who sits on both to maintain good communication between them.
