Whether you’d prefer working out solo in our Fitness Room or with a group of friends with our guided classes, we’re here to help you meet your goals.

We offer a range of physical activities and groups to fit your physical level and comfort level. Keep reading below to see more about each of our programs!

Fitness Room


September to June: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. except on P.A. days and holidays

July 2nd to August 30th: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will be closed on Monday, August 5th.

Our fitness room is full of equipment that helps you build muscle and stay fit. If you’re not sure what to do or where to start, don’t fret! Our Health & Fitness Coordinator, Jennifer, has a background in Kinesiology and Health Science and has been facilitating exercise programs for older adults for the past 15 years. She will design a workout regime according to your fitness level. 

Our fitness room has all the equipment you need to stay healthy and keep active, including: 

  • Treadmills

  • Recumbent & Upright Bikes

  • Rowing Machines

  • Elliptical machines

  • Free Weights

  • Strength Machines

  • Multi-workout Stations

  • Chin up Bar

  • Stability Ball

  • Area for Stretching

Fitness Room Regulations

  • Must be a Club member.

  • Ensure that your doctor is made aware of your exercise intentions.

  • New members must meet with the coordinator for an orientation before using the Fitness Room.

  • Fill out the required documents.

  • Indoor running shoes and appropriate exercise attire.

  • Members are required to clean each piece of equipment after every use.

Beyond our fitness room, we also offer several active programs for individuals looking for something a bit more social.  Some of our programs include: 

  • Accessible Yoga

  • Badminton

  • Carpet ball

  • Floor curling

  • Get Fit

  • Gentle Seated Exercise

  • Line dancing

  • Pickleball
    Note: Visitors are welcome on Mondays and Fridays and must pay $7 drop-in each visit during the school year

  • Tai Chi

  • Walking - Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (except on P.A. days and holidays)

  • Open Gym
