Swimming Lessons
From guppies to expert swimmers
From parent & tot lessons to advanced swim programs, we look for ways to add value to your average swimming lessons. With the support of highly trained instructors, our swim lessons incorporate concepts of water safety while helping your child build self-confidence.
We are proud to offer the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program.

Class Types and Fees
We know that life can be busy, so we offer swim lessons at different times during both the school year on Saturdays and over the summer break on weeknights. Fee structures depend on the type of class you are enrolling for, ranging from private to semi-private and group classes.

Each session consists of 8 classes that are 30 minutes in length.
BGC London Members pay $67 per session
Non-Members pay $72 per session
Various group classes are available to choose from ranging from Parent & Tot (4 months old to 3 years old) to Swimmer 6.
We also offer Rookie, Ranger and Star level lessons.
We follow the Lifesaving Society’s swim program modules which can be found here.

Semi-Private lessons are available! Please contact us directly for details on how to register. Participants must be at the same swim skill level, and they must register for the same class time as each other.

$130 per session for BGC London members
$140 per session for non-member
Private Lessons
$190 per session for BGC London members
$200 per session for non-members

For ages 13 to 70 years old
Dates: Fridays starting January 9th to March 27th, 2026 for both courses. No classes on Feb. 13th and Mar. 20th, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Bronze Medallion with Emergency First Aid
Fees: $150 per person
Prerequisite: Minimum 13 years of age by last day of course OR Bronze Star
Bronze Cross with Standard First Aid
Fees: $170 per person
Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid OR Standard First Aid
Additional Costs
The Canadian Lifesaving Manual is a required add-on for $55 per manual. The manual can be used for each Bronze course offered.

For ages 15 to 70 years old

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fees: $85 per person
Prerequisite: Candidates are to bring proof of National Lifeguard certification through a National Lifeguard Certification Card or LSS “Find a Member” print out.
Cancellation policy
No refunds. Changes to registrations are to our discretion and subject to an $15.00 administration fee. In the case of poor registration classes will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. We will do our best to combine classes and alter the schedule, so this is not the case.
Make up Lessons: We do not offer make-up lessons for missed classes due to illness, injury, late registration, conflicting obligations, lack of transportation or lack of success and/or enjoyment from the program. However, make-up lessons may be offered due to pool mechanical issues or instructor illness, if scheduling permits.
